Organizers of the Young Peacebuilders Forum – Amass Ghana, have engaged children in a heated quiz competition in Bimbilla, Capital of Nanumba North District in a bid to unionize, build capacity and mentally drill youngsters on wide range of conflict and peace related questions.

The project was initiated in order for targeted children to be mentally responsive to issues that hinges on conflict eruption in their homes, Mosques, school and community to harness swift and decisive approaches aimed at taming mushrooming conflict, should same crop-up in future.

The Young Peacebuilders Forum (YPF) received funding support from Niwano Peace Foundation – Japan to help train and recruit more young-people into peace ambassadorship role, for the benefit of lasting peace in a community that have seen armed-conflict since 1994.
